NASCAR Champion’s Week includes many different events for many different drivers.
The charity roast of Jimmie Johnson was held at the Blackjack Club at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and benefited Speedway Children’s Charities. The 11 other Chase for the Sprint Cup contenders got the opportunity to crack jokes at the champion’s expense.
Among other things, Johnson’s hairline, eyebrows and “vanilla” personality were all taken advantage of during the roast but, ever the steadfast champion, Johnson remained impassive to the jabs.
Meanwhile, the NASCAR Rookie of the Year learned a new way to go fast: the Air Force. The young superstar took to the skies with The Thunderbirds out of the nearby Nellis Air Force Base.
