Dale Earnhardt Jr. accepted his 7th consecutive NASCAR NMPA Chex Most Popular Driver award at the Myers Brother Awards ceremony on Thursday.
The award, which is voted on by fans, was the only reason for Earnhardt to go to Las Vegas since he is not part of the Champion’s Week festivities, proving how much his fans mean to him.
Also receiving awards that day were legendary crew chief Dale Inman, who took home the Buddy Shuman Award and Tim Booth, Director of Guest Services at Michigan International Speedway, who was awarded the Home Depot NMPA Humanitarian Award.
The Myers Brothers Awards were held at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
