Toyota drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series combined for 11 wins, 42 top-five's and 75 top-10 finishes in 36 races during the 2009 season.
Leading the win column for Toyota were Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin with each driver collecting four victories. Joey Logano, David Reutimann and Brian Vickers parked their Toyota's in victory lane one time each in 2009.
Reutimann won two poles and the Coca-Cola 600 in May at the Lowe's Motor Speedway, the first Cup Series victory of his career, while Vickers claimed six poles during the season and earned a spot in the Chase for the first time in his career.
JGR Toyota driver Joey Logano won the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year, beating out fellow Toyota drivers Scott Speed and Max Papis for the honor. MORE NASCAR NEWS
