ARCA Testing Begins Friday

daytona-international-speedwayARCA testing for 2010 begins Friday, December 18 at the Daytona International Speedway as the drivers and teams prepare for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200.  Over 40 teams are expected to test on the famous 2.5 mile high banked Daytona track.

 

The starts and cars of the ARCA Series will take to the track at 9am with testing slated to last until 5 pm.

 

The seemingly more popular Danica Patrick, who is to make her stock-car debut in the Lucis Oil Slick Mist 200, is expected to test for the February event under the JR Motorsports banner.  Among others expected are Alli Owens, five-time winner of the event, as well as Bobby Gerhart, Tim George Jr., and Penske development driver Dakoda Armstrong.

 

Hardcore race fans are invited to the test event with free admission to the Oldfield Granstands.
