In a constant effort to improve hardcore race fans’ experiences at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, the track is currently accepting applications for its Fan Council for the 2010 season.
The Lowe’s Motor Speedway Fan Council was created in August of 2008 as a way to gather information from race fans regarding every aspect of the race track and its events. Members of the council participate in surveys, attend fan forum meetings during race weekends and take part in conference calls. 30 hardcore race fans make up the council and serve a one-year term. "We strive to be the greatest speedway in the world, and with the help of our Fan Council we're working on improvements to be even more fan-friendly," Marcus Smith, president and general manager of LMS, said. "The Fan Council allows us to receive feedback from our fans that we can utilize to enhance our events and facilities. The fans are the backbone of our speedway and we try to do everything with them in mind." For more information or to receive an application, e-mail
