Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 500 for $50 on New Year’s Day.

The special pricing will be available on the track’s website at http://www.atlantamotorspeedway.com throughout the day on January 1st and the tickets will be located in the Petty and Winners Grandstands.

This special is one of many the track has planned for its 50th Anniversary celebration throughout 2010.

The ticket office at AMS has been closed for renovations since December 23rd and will remain closed through January 4th. Once it is back up and running, regular tickets can be purchased by calling (877) 9-AMS-TIX or through the track’s website.
