raymond-keyKeyed-Up Motorsports team owner Raymond Key, whose #90 Chevrolet will make it's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Daytona next month, spoke candidly over the recent Christmas holiday about the positive role ForKids has played in so many lives.

ForKids, a Norfolk, Virginia based non-profit organization, has captured the heart of Raymond Key with their efforts in assisting families through difficulties such as chronic hunger, disabilities, domestic violence, mental illness, housing-related debt and homelessness.

Raymond Key and the Keyed-Up Motorsports team have joined forces with ForKids to help homeless families with children to get their lives back on track. Key understands the challenges facing homeless families after his own family suffered extreme poverty following his father's murder in 1975.

"ForKids is a great group of people who have made a remarkable effort in the community," said Raymond Key. "You can see the difference they make in the lives of so many that are experiecing hardships. Watching these families make real progress as they go through the program brings back memories of the struggle my mother endured when I was a boy. I am a believer in what ForKids stands for and the work they do."

In addition to his duties as a sitting board member and the premier sponsor of ForKids, Key has named the organization as the official charity of Keyed-Up Motrosports and will work to raise awareness of the groups effort through their racing endeavors.

"There are so many things going on in the world today, it is a breath of fresh air to work with people who want to make this a better place," said Key.
