North Wilkesboro Speedway is now North Wilkesboro Speedway presented by Goodyear.

Speedway Associates, Inc. (SAI) and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company have announced a three year partnership in which the tire company will be the presenting sponsor of the historic race track.

“We are excited that Goodyear has made this commitment at Historic NWS directly benefiting short track racers and fans,” the Race Director of SAI, Dave Ehret, said. “Speedway Associates Inc. is proud to align with Goodyear in their giving back in a huge tangible way.”

In addition to the presenting sponsorship for the track, Goodyear will also be the presenting sponsor of the track’s benevolent fund, now named the North Wilkesboro Speedway/Goodyear Benevolent Fund. The fund was developed to benefit drivers and their families who are in need.

Over the next three years, the track will introduce a line of historic collectibles as well as implementing joint opportunities at Goodyear locations.

“This is simple, old fashion short track racing at its best, which is why Goodyear is involved,” said Justin Fantozzi, Global Marketing Manager for Goodyear.
