Kasey Kahne won his first Daytona event ever in the second Gatorade Duel at Daytona by mere inches over Tony Stewart.
Michael Waltrip, who wrecked in the first duel, locked into the Daytona 500 when Scott Speed and Mike Bliss got the transfer positions. Casey Mears in the No. 90 Chevrolet for new team Keyed-Up Motorsports came close to making the race but got caught up a little with Paul Menard and was unable to make a final charge for the transfer positions.
So, Jimmie Johnson and Kahne will start 3rd and 4th on Sunday behind Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. who locked in the front row during qualifying last Saturday. GATORADE DUEL #2 RESULTS MORE NASCAR NEWS
