The 2010 Daytona 500 Winner, Jamie McMurray, heads to Northern California to celebrate with hardcore race fans.
McMurray will be present at the Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco Wednesday for a midday rally with hardcore race fans. In addition the Great American Race victor will take a San Francisco Victory Tour, courtesy of Infineon Raceway and NASCAR. "It just means so much. You know, for me to be in the position that I was four or five months ago, to have Chip and Felix and Bass Pro Shops welcome me into their organization, it means a lot. It's a great way for me to be able to pay those guys back," McMurray said of his Daytona 500 win.
This second annual event will mark the countdown to the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Infineon Raceway Father’s Day weekend. The Victory Tour begins at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge at noon and will arrive at Willie Mays Plaza around 12:45 p.m. for the rally.
