jamie-mcmurrayEarnhardt Ganassi Racing has been celebrating all week after Jamie McMurray in the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet won the 52nd Annual Daytona 500 on Sunday.

The team has taken their momentum from last weekend into the second race of the season. McMurray is seated on the pole for the Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway while his teammate Juan Pablo Montoya will roll off second.

Behind the EGR duo sits Clint Bowyer and Kasey Kahne in 3rd and 4th, respectively, followed by go-or-go-home driver Dave Blaney who set a blistering lap good enough for 5th place.

Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Sam Hornish Jr., Kyle Busch and Mark Martin will round out the top-10 on the starting grid Sunday.

Blaney sent the No. 90 Keyed-Up Motorsports Chevy driven by Casey Mears home early. Johnny Sauter and Terry Cook also failed to qualify for the event.

The Auto Club 500 is scheduled to broadcast Sunday on FOX beginning at 3pm ET.
