Several Las Vegas area hotels and casinos will appear on the fenders as associate sponsors of some of the NASCAR cars this weekend as the circuit takes a trip to the famous desert town of Las Vegas.
Front Row Motorsports comes to Vegas with Planet Hollywood on their race cars. Travis Kvapil’s and David Gilliand will sport the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas decal on the lower-rear quarter panels of their hot rods in this weekend’s Shelby American 500 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Travis Kvapil, 29th in the standings, and Gilliland, 40th in the standings, will hope for a strong finish in the Shelby American 500 to climb the point’s ladder. Tommy Baldwin’s No. 36 will also carry a Vegas sponsor into Vegas this weekend. The Mike Bliss piloted No. 36 Kim Kardashian Fragrance/Sephora.com Chevrolet will carry the “Scale the Strat” logo in Sunday’s race. “Scale the Strat” is an event that will raise funds to prevent lung disease and promote lung health taking place on March 13-14. The event features a 1,455 step vertical ascent inside the world-famous Stratosphere tower. Bliss will also carry the logos of the Holiday Inn Henderson/East Las Vegas on his Key Motorsports Nationwide Series No. 40 in the Sam’s Town 300 on Saturday. MORE NASCAR NEWS
