The brothers Busch, along with the rest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers, will take on the 1.5-mile oval of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. For the brothers however the trip to the Las Vegas desert is a homecoming.
After starting their careers in go-karts and Legends cars, the duo worked their way through the ranks of auto racing. Last year the younger Busch got his first win at his home track of LVMS. On top of his victory, Kyle Busch has earned three top-5 finishes and four top-10’s, with an average finish of 11.2.
Kurt Busch has also seen success in his hometown but has yet to score a win. The elder Busch has one top-5 finish, two top-10’s and an average finish of 20.4. As all of NASCAR’s biggest names prepare for the Shelby American event scheduled for Sunday, the Busch brothers are certainly considered favorites for the victory at Las Vegas. MORE NASCAR NEWS
