Las Vegas Motor Speedway Reports Sellout

las-vegas-motor-speedwayLas Vegas Motor Speedway reported a sellout for Sunday's Shelby American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event, marking the ninth consecutive capacity crowd of hardcore race fans on hand for a Sprint Cup race at the popular Nevada track. The remaining grandstand seats were sold Sunday morning, prior to the start of the event.

 

"In what are still challenging economic times, today's turnout is a testament to the popularity of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this great city and NASCAR's premier racing series," said LVMS president Chris Powell. "We really appreciate the thousands of race fans who chose to spend the day with us."

 

Hardcore race fans purchased the remaining grandstand seats Sunday morning, prior to the start of the Shelby American.
