The Michigan International Speedway has been selected as Jackson Magazine's "Top Tourist Attraction" for its 2010 Best of Jackson Awards. Speedway officials accepted the award in Jackson, Michigan Tuesday evening.

"We are honored to be named by our local residents as one of Jackson's best as the top tourist attraction," MIS President Roger Curtis said. "This awards program and the special nod to the winners and nominees is such a shining example of everything that's positive about this community. And we're extremely proud to be a part of that."

The staff of Michigan International Speedway have gone the extra mile to listen to hardcore race fans by making traffic improvements, offering wider seats and reducing prices. Hardcore race fans can also win race tickets, pit passes, pace car rides and exclusive access through the Fan Appreciation Program presented by LifeLock.
