After a brief break in the schedule, NASCAR is back on track in Thunder Valley this weekend.
The off weeks were hardly boring however after the Carl Edwards vs. Brad Keselowski incident in the closing laps of the Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta. Now that the penalty has been issued and those involved have had a chance to cool off it will interesting to see what, if anything happens at Bristol, a track known for hot tempers.
The Nationwide Series has been off since Las Vegas and the absence of Danica Patrick will certainly be felt at the short track except that the No. 7 will still be on track with Scott Wimmer behind the wheel. Here is the schedule of events for this weekend with all times in ET: Friday – 12pm Cup Practice on SPEED 1:30pm Nationwide Practice on SPEED 3:30pm Cup Qualifying on SPEED 4:45pm Nationwide Final Practice on SPEED (at 5pm) Saturday – 9:40am Nationwide Qualifying on SPEED (at 12pm) 11am Cup Practice (not televised) 12:20pm Cup Final Practice on SPEED (at 1pm) 2pm Nationwide Scotts Turf Builder 300 on ABC Sunday – 1pm Food City 500 on FOX MORE NASCAR NEWS
