4-time and defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson led the field in both of the final series practices before Sunday's Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

In the first practice on Saturday Johnson ran a 15.635 lap and followed that up with a fast lap of 15.691 seconds in the second practice.

Juan Pablo Montoya finished 2nd to Johnson in both practices.

Johnson's Hendrick Motorsports teammates Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were 3rd and 4th in the first practice today while pole-sitter Joey Logano rounded out the top-5.

In the final practice session, Matt Kenseth and Jamie McMurray were 3rd and 4th with Logano again completing the top-5.

The Food City 500 is scheduled to broadcast on FOX Sunday at 1pm ET.
