Darlington Raceway and SHOWTIME have teamed up to offer hardcore race fans the Ultimate NASCAR Experience at the SHOWTIME Southern 500 with one lucky fan being presented a Johnny Mantz SHOWTIME Southern 500 trophy in Victory Lane at the SHOWTIME Southern 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday, May, 8, 2010.

"The Johnny Mantz SHOWTIME Southern 500 trophy really tells the story of Darlington Raceway," said Darlington Raceway President, Chris Browning. "Adding your name to this trophy is a huge accomplishment for a Sprint Cup driver. This trophy is one of the most coveted pieces of hardware a Sprint Cup driver can win and will certainly make a great show piece for one lucky fan."

The Johnny Mantz SHOWTIME Southern 500 trophy, about three feet tall and weighing in at 50 pounds, bares the name and likeness of each Southern 500 winner dating back to the inaugural race in 1950 when Johnny Mantz tasted victory at the Track Too Tough To Tame.

The winner of the Ultimate NASCAR Experience at the SHOWTIME Southern 500 will also receive airfare for two, hotel accomodations, VIP access to the suites and Victory Lane.
