Crew chief changes seem to be agreeing with the #88 team of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. This week, Earnhardt said improved communication has helped give crew chief Lance McGrew confidence to make the changes he feels are necessary to improve the car’s performance.
Meanwhile, Greg Biffle says they have all the elements needed for a championship team. Trailing leader Jimmie Johnson by only 14 points in Sprint Cup standings, Biffle is confident he will have a good run in the dessert.
Right on Biffle’s heals is Matt Kenseth. Currently third in the standings, his flat-track performance has been lukewarm. Kenseth believes it will improve thanks to the power of his testing program.
