Phoenix winner Ryan Newman will sport a new look on the #39 in the Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on April 18.
Newman's Steart-Haas Racing Chevrolet will have the logo of the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps on the hood and rear quarterpanels this weekend. "As a strong advocate for secondary education it will be special for me to drive the Army ROTC Chevrolet in Texas," said Newman. "Army ROTC is an excellent program which provides Cadets a college education as well as preparing them with leadership skills for a career as an Army officer."
Hardcore race fans will get their first sight of the #39 ARMY ROTC Chevrolet on the track at Texas in Friday's noon practice session for Sprint Cup Series teams. MORE NASCAR NEWS
