Greg Biffle topped the speed charts in the first of three scheduled NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice sessions for Sunday's Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Biffle toured the Texas track at 190.813 mph.

Tony Stewart occupied second on the leader board with a speed of 190.201.  Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Clint Bowyer and Jimmie Johnson were third through fifth fastest.

Sixth through tenth were Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman, Scott Speed, Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski.
