kurt-buschShell Oil Company announced Wednesday morning an arrangement with Penske Racing that will take the current sponsorship of the RCR No. 29 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team to 2004 champion Kurt Busch.

The Pennzoil brand will be the primary sponsor of Kurt Busch and the 22 Sprint Cup team beginning in 2011, according to the announcement. Pennzoil will also become an associate sponsor of Penske IndyCar drivers Helio Castroneves, Will Power and Ryan Briscoe.

ExxonMobile, sponsor of Sam Hornish, Jr., also announced Wednesday they will not continue their association with Penske Racing beyond 2010.

The long-time sponsor of Penske Racing released a statement saying, "It has been a long and successful relationship, and we wish the Penske team continued success on the track."

Penske is expected to make an announcement soon regarding Busch's current sponsor, Miller Lite. Many insiders speculate Penske will move Brad Keselowski to the No. 2 car at the end of the 2010 season.
