talladegaHardcore race fans attending the Aaron's Dream Weekend in Talladega, April 23-25, 2010, will be able to communicate directly with the track's command post via a text message communications system that was used successfully last year.

"In our continuing efforts to provide thrilling and safe guest experiences, we are extremely pleased to once again offer this innovative technology at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. It further demonstrates our focus on providing a safe, enjoyable and unforgettable race experience for our guests," said Speedway Chairman Grant Lynch.  "ISS' text messaging system allows fans to communicate instantly with our command center and receive immediate assistance at their location.  We are glad to work with ISS on this important customer service initiative for all our race fans.

Fans who need to use the service should look for signs posted throughout the speedway as well as listen for public address announcements.

The text messaging service is available at all International Speedway Corporation tracks.
