Hamlin Foundation Short Track Showdown Today

denny-hamlinThe Denny Hamlin Foundation's annual Short Track Showdown will be held today at Southside Speedway in Midlothian, VA.

 

All proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation which gives funding to and raises awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, chronically ill children and underpriviledged youth.

 

Alongside Hamlin, previous attendees Tony Stewart, Joey Logano and Kyle Busch will race as well as Kevin Harvick, Virginia-native Elliott Sadler, Marcos Ambrose and more.

 

Tickets are still available for the event which begins at 4pm local time.

 

Qualifying is scheduled for 4:15 pm followed by the last chance races and the feature. The green flag flies at 8pm local time.

 

Adult tickets, for people 12 and older, are $20. Children ages 6 - 11 are $10 and small children 5 and under can attend for free.
