NASCAR legend Richard Petty will give the command, "Gentleman, start your engines," to the 43-car starting field Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Dover International Speedway as Grand Marshal for the Autism Speaks 400 presented by HERSHEY'S Milk & Milkshakes.
"King" Richard will also participate in a question-and-answer session, free for all hardcore race fans, at the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza on Saturday May 15 at 10:00 am ET. Allen Bestwick will moderate the Q&A session.
The No. 43, currently driven by A.J. Allmendinger, will resemble Petty's 1980's Cup Series ride with "Petty Blue" colors at Dover this weekend. The seven-time champion won the inaugural NASCAR event at Dover in 1969. For more information on the races at Dover, call 1-800-441-7223 or visit DoverSpeedway.com. MORE NASCAR NEWS
