Casey Mears will be back behind the wheel of the Red Bull No. 83 Toyota this weekend for the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Mears drove the car last week at Dover and apparantly is set to stay in the seat until Brian Vickers is able to return.

Vickers has returned to Charlotte, North Carolina and is being treated by Dr. Jerry Petty for blood clots. ESPN is reporting Vickers could be out for as long as three months.

"Given the extenuating circumstances we have dealt with this past week regarding Brian's health, we would like to thank NASCAR for their assistance and understanding of this unique situation by allowing us to compete in the All-Star Race," stated Jay Frye, Red Bull Racing Team General Manager & Vice President.

Frye and Vickers are scheduled to address the media Friday morning at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
