kevin-harvickNASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick will remain in Richard Childress Racing Chevrolets after the pair announced today the signing of a multiyear agreement.

Today's announcement at the Charlotte Motor Speedway did not include word on who will replace the team's current primary sponsor Shell/Pennzoil at seasons end. Shell will move to Penske racing for 2011.

"We have three or four companies that we're dealing with right now, and hopefully, in the very near future, we'll have something to announce there," Childress said.

Kevin Harvick began driving for RCR in 1999, making his Sprint Cup debut in the No. 29 at Rockingham one week after Dale Earnhardt was killed in the 2001 Daytona 500.
