Busy NASCAR Weekend Ahead

pocono-racewayWith all three NASCAR series running in different locations this weekend, hardcore race fans have a busy weekend ahead in keeping up with all the action.

 

 

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is in Texas while the Nationwide Series are unloading in Nashville and the Sprint Cup Series are taking on the triangular shaped Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania.

 

The weekend starts Thursday morning with the Truck Series getting on the Texas Motor Speedway for practice sessions at 11 am and 12:45 pm CT, followed by qualifying at 6 pm local time.

 

Friday kicks off with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice in Pocono at noon ET with qualifying for Sunday's Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 Presented by Target set for 3:40 pm ET. The Nationwide Series drivers will practice in Nashville Friday afternoon at 5 pm and 6:45 pm CT. The WinStar World Casino 400K NASCAR Truck Series event gets underway at 8 pm CT Friday evening.

 

Two practice sessions are scheduled for Sprint Cup Series competitors on Saturday morning in Pocono, at 10 am and 11:20 ET with Nationwide Series qualifying scheduled for 4:05 pm CT in Nashville. The Federated Auto Parts 300 Nationwide race starts at 8 pm local time Saturday night.

 

The WinStar World Casino 400K NASCAR Truck Series race will be televised live on SPEED-TV Friday at 8:30 pm ET with ESPN2 broadcasting the Federated Auto Parts 300 Nationwide race from Nashville beginning at 7:30 pm ET. Coverage of Sunday's Cup race at Pocono will be on TNT at 1 pm ET.
