Despite almost all reports to the contrary, Michigan is still the car capital of the world. With the major manufacturers looking on, drivers will be trying extra hard to win Sunday’s Sprint Cup Race. Michigan International Speedway (MIS) is a two mile D-shaped oval. Crews that put a premium of fuel mileage generally have the best success.

Owners like Jack Roush see the trip to MIS as a homecoming. He’s hopeful to earn his first victory in 2010. Drivers like Jimmy Johns just want to finish the race without running out of gas.

This week’s video preview features comments from Roush and Johnson, along with Greg Biffle and Mark Martin.
