As the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season began, two of the series' stars got their first chance at fatherhood. Elliott Sadler's son Wyatt was born on February 15th and Carl Edwards' daughter Anne arrived 9 days later on February 24th.
However, there were several more baby announcements made in the off-season and those due dates are beginning to loom large.
4-time and defending champion Jimmie Johnson and his wife Chandra are already preparing for the birth of their first child who is due in mid-July. Aric Almirola will be standing by in Sonoma this weekend in case the little one decides to make an early appearance. Juan Pablo Montoya and his wife are expecting their third child, a baby boy, around the same time. In August, 4-time champion Jeff Gordon and his wife Ingrid will add one more to their family; a son will be joining daughter Ella. So, in addition to discussing the track, set-ups and the competition, diapers seem to be a major point of discussion these days for some of the series' best drivers. MORE NASCAR NEWS
