While the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes nearly a month-long break, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series are headed to separate parts of the country this weekend but both are headed for winding road courses.
The Nationwide Series is headed to the midwest for the Bucyrus 200 presented by Menards at Road America while the Cup stars are headed to California for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway.
Denny Hamlin is coming off of two wins in a row at Pocono and Michigan but he is still only third in the point standings behind leader Kevin Harvick and his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch. Infineon will present a challenge for the hot shoe who has only posted one top-5 finish there so far in his career. Meanwhile, in the Nationwide Series, Brad Keselowski has a lead of nearly 300 points over Carl Edwards. This new track for the series will present a challenge for all drivers and could give Edwards the opportunity to cut into Keselowski's lead.
