Kasey Kahne, winner of the 2009 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway, will start from the pole for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race after qualifying at 93.893 mph to edge Jimmie Johnson for the top starting spot.
Johnson toured the 1.99-mile road course at 93.809 mph and will line up alongside Kahne on the front row. Kurt Busch starts third, Kevin Harvick fourth and Jeff Gordon fifth.
Qualifying sixth through tenth were Marcos Ambrose, Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, Greg Biffle and Martin Truex, Jr. Brandon Ash, Brian Simo and Michael Waltrip did not qualify for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. MORE NASCAR NEWS
