The old road course ain’t what it used to be. This week’s stop in the Northern California wine country will be an interesting adventure for both man and machine. While just a few years ago there were drivers who specialized in road-course racing, now everyone has to be able to make both right and left turns.
Running near the front will be a priority, especially near the end. It’s a technical race that rewards drivers who can navigate all 10 turns. Some drivers love the course. Others hate it.
