elliott-sadlerTodd Parrott has been named crew chief of the Richard Petty Motorsports No. 19 driven by Elliott Sadler in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Parrott recently left Roush Racing where he managed the research and development program.

“We are happy to welcome Todd to our team and reunite him with Elliott,” said Robbie Loomis, Vice President of Competition for RPM. “We appreciate all of Wally Rogers’ hard work with this team for the first half of the season. He will continue to be a valuable member of RPM.”

Sadler and Parrott were paired in 2004, producing 2 Sprint Cup wins, Texas and Fontana, and completed the season ninth in Sprint Cup Series points.

Parrott has more than 15 years of NASCAR crew chief experience, scoring 29 career wins. Parrott was with Robert Yates and driver Dale Jarrett when the team won the 1999 Sprint Cup championship.
