Defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and wife Chandra have released the name of their first child, a baby daughter born last week.

Genevieve Marie Johnson was delivered Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 1:44 pm in a Charlotte, North Carolina area hospital.

Genevieve Marie measured 19.5 inches and weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz.

The couple took about four days to name their new daughter, prompting many to refer to her as Baby J. Baby J is now Baby GM.
