The Associated Press is reporting NASCAR has fined two unnamed drivers for making comments the sanctioning body considered disparaging to the sport.
The report states one of the drivers may have received a fine as high as $50,000. AP sources spoke on condition of anonymity due to NASCAR not publicly naming the drivers who were fined. NASCAR is not expected to announce the names of the drivers or details of their penalties. MORE NASCAR NEWS
