jack-roushRoush Racing issued the following update Thursday regarding the condition of team owner Jack Roush, who received injuries when his Beechcraft Premier jet was involved in an accident while landing in Wisconsin Tuesday evening about 6:15 pm local time:

Jack Roush, co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing and chairman of ROUSH Enterprises, was transferred to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., Wednesday evening.

Following surgery Tuesday night related to the facial damage sustained in the accident, he remains in serious, but stable condition.  Roush was injured in a plane accident at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisc., on Tuesday.  He will continue to be treated at Mayo Clinic for his facial injuries.

The Roush organization would like to thank the physicians and staff at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisc., for the care and treatment provided during his stay.

Once again, we would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and well wishes.  Those wishing to make a charitable donation in the name of Jack Roush are encouraged to contribute to Speedway Children’s Charities at www.speedwaycharities.org (http://www.speedwaycharities.org/ ).  Please identify your contribution as “Jack Roush” in the notes section.
