joe-gibbsAtlanta Motor Speedway officials have announced NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs will deliver the pre-race invocation just before the Emory Healthcare 500 Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, September 5, 2010.

Following Gibbs' invocation, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will perform the National Anthem. A flyover of four F-15 C/D Eagle fighter jets from the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana concludes pre-race activities as drivers get buckled in for 500 miles of night racing.

Gibbs is an active Christian who is very involved in ministry work, his deep faith reflected in a youth program he established in 1986. Hardcore race fans attending the Cup race at Atlanta will hear a great message from the championship winning team owner.
