Ryan Newman led NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Happy Hour Saturday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway, clocking a lap at 183.680 mph to beat Carl Edwards lap of 183.588 mph.
Juan Pablo Montoya turned in the third fastest lap at 183.497 mph, followed by David Regan and Clint Bowyer.
Kasey Kahne topped the speed chart in the first Sprint Cup practice earlier in the day, recording an average speed of 183.874 mph on his fastest lap with Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton and Denny Hamlin rounding out the top-five.
