How much stress a driver feels going into this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Richmond really depends on one thing – are they in the Chase or not. For those solidly in the Chase, the race means they can go all out for victory. The few still sitting on the bubble are looking to take just enough chances to score valuable points, while at the same time cautious enough to finish.

Richmond can be fickle. There are many different grooves, and a changing track temperature means the car has to be adjustable. The longest of the short tracks, the .75-mile D-shaped oval with 14 degree corner banking will make for exciting side-by-side racing.

This week’s video preview includes interviews with Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, and Jeff Gordon.
