Elliott Sadler has earned his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole since 2006 in qualifying Friday afternoon for Sunday's AAA Texas 500. Sadler toured the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway at 195.397 mph shortly after announcing he will drive for Kevin Harvick in the Nationwide Series next season.
Greg Biffle starts on the ouside of the front row with Carl Edwards, Juan Pablo Montoya and David Ragan rounding out the top-five on Sunday's grid. Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, Regan Smith, Mark Martin and A.J. Allmendinger complete the top-10. The AAA Texas 500 will be shown live on ESPN Sunday at 3:00 pm ET. MORE NASCAR NEWS
