Carl Edwards won the Ford 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Homestead Miami Speedway Sunday afternoon.  Edwards led 190 laps of the 267-lap race.  

Jimmie Johnson finished second followed by Kevin Harvick in third, Aric Almirola in fourth, and A.J. Allmendinger in fifth.  

With his second place finish Johnson clinched his fifth consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup championship.
