jimmie-johnsonFriday night's Sprint Cup Awards Banquet at the Wynn Las Vegas was a stylish affair that put a cap on the 2010 NASCAR season. Tuxedo clad race drivers accompanied by their beautiful girlfriends and wives appeared on the red carpet as SPEED personalities Kenny Wallace and Krista Voda conducted interviews while hardcore race fans looked on.

Comedian and impressionist Frank Caliendo hosted NASCAR's annual season ending celebration for the second year in a row. Caliendo struck several funny notes during his time on stage and in pre-recorded video as he imitated Donald Trump at the track and having dialogue with Jamie McMurray, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle among others.

The top-10 Chase drivers made their way to the stage and gave speeches that were much better than in years past. The drivers seemed more relaxed and open which offered a welcome improvement to the ceremony.

Jimmie Johnson earned his fifth consecutive Sprint Cup Series title in 2010, a record that won't soon be broken.

Can he do it again 2011? Only time will tell.
