Two-Day Test For 48 Team Begins Monday

The 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet takes to the track Monday for testing as the championship winninng team begins preparations for the 2011 season.

 

Chevrolet test driver Josh Wise, who also drove for JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series during 2010, is scheduled to drive car 48 during the two-day session, according to SPEED.

 

Crew chief Chad Knaus has led the 48 team to five consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships and is wasting no time in starting to work on number six.

 

The location of the test was not disclosed.

 

The 2011 NASCAR season kicks off with the Daytona 500 on February 20, 76 days from today.
