Christmas Light Shows At Three NASCAR Tracks

charlotte-motor-speedway-santaThree NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tracks, Charlotte, Bristol and Las Vegas, have excellent Christmas light displays this holiday season that benefit their local chapters of Speedway Childrens Charities.

 

 

Carolina Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway is a light show and village with over one million LED lights. Located in the CMS infield, the Christmas Village area features Santa's Workshop, pictures with Santa, the Coca-Cola Igloo with a synthetic skating rink, ornament painting, a petting zoo and a live Nativity in a Bethlehem-themed village.

The AutoTrader.com Speedway In Lights powered by TVA at Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway is open through January 8, 2011. Speedway In Lights offers hundreds of displays and millions of lights line the four-mile route that allows you to drive on the famed 1/2-mile track.

 

Speedway In Lights is open every day, including Christmas Day, from 6 pm until 10 pm. Visit www.bristolmotorspeedway.com for directions, tickets and other information.

 

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is hosting the Sunset Park's yearly Christmas light display, a popular event for Las Vegas residents. Moved to the speedway to better accomodate the growing traffic problems, more than one million lights and over four hundred displays are featured through Jan 2, 2011.

 

The LVMS light show is open Sunday thru Thursday, 5 pm to 9 pm; Friday, Saturday & Holidays, 5 pm to 10 pm. Visit www.lasvegasmotorspeedway.com to learn more.
