The one-mile Phoenix International Raceway is home to NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Truck and K & N Series West competitors this weekend. Sunday’s Subway Fresh Fit 500 marks the final race on the current configuration as Phoenix is going to be adding some banking to the track shortly after this weekend’s events.
Thursday opens the show with the K & N West Series taking to the track for two practice sessions, the first at 9 a.m. with final practice at 10:30 a.m. Track activity cools down a bit before the K & N Series takes returns for qualifying at 2:30 p.m and the race at 4:30 p.m.
Track activity resumes Friday with Truck Series practice at 9 a.m. and Nationwide Series practice beginning at 11 a.m. followed by Cup Series practice at 12:30 p.m. Final practice for Nationwide Series drivers begins at 2 p.m. followed by Truck Series qualifying at 3:05 p.m. Final practice for the Cup cars will be at 4 p.m. The Truck series ends the day at 6 p.m. with the Lucas Oil 150. Watch it all on SPEED.
Saturday at Phoenix begins with Nationwide Series qualifying at 12:05 p.m. followed by Sprint Cup Series qualifying at 1:40 p.m. which can be seen on SPEED. The Bashas Supermarkets 200 will be live on ESPN2 at 3:30 p.m. with driver introductions beginning at 3 p.m.
The Subway Fresh Fit 500 starts Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX.
