Matt Kenseth has been dealt a good hand in Las Vegas this week.

The Roush Fenway driver earned the pole for Sunday's Kobalt Tools 500 with a record breaking lap in qualifying Friday and has been atop the speed chart each time Sprint Cup Series cars have taken to the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Saturday afternoon's Happy Hour practice was no different as Kenseth paced the 75-minute session with a lap at 184.112 mph. Kyle Busch occupied second on the speed chart at 183.717 mph.

Ryan Newman clocked in third fast at 183.680 mph with Roush Fenway teammates Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle completing the top-five.

David Reutimann, Martin Truex, Jr., Tony Stewart, Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin were sixth through tenth in the final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice session of the weekend.
