Kyle Busch held off a late race challenge from Carl Edwards to win Sunday's Jeff Byrd 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Busch led 153 of 500 laps on the way to his first Sprint Cup victory of the 2011 season.

"It was harder today," said Busch, who made Saturday's Nationwide win look easy.  "Carl kept me honest."

Edwards crossed the finish line .946 seconds behind Kyle Busch to post his second runnerup finish this season.  Defending Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson finished third, Matt Kenseth fourth and Paul Menard fifth.

Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle, Kasey Khane and Ryan Newman completed the top-10.

Kurt Busch leaves Bristol with a one point advantage over Carl Edwards in the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship battle.
