The Jeff Byrd 500 was dominated by Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.

Kyle Busch capitalized on a mistake by Jimmie Johnson to take the lead for good.

Racing action was great, just as good as before the repaving. It is different though.

Seeing the lack of a packed house was disappointing.

I think I want to go for the first time in August for the night race.

I am waiting on Paul Menard to have a bad race; I might be waiting for awhile as he is running great.

I do not understand why this race was not last week.

Why is there a break week four of the season but then have these crews on the road the last 19 weeks of the season?

Storyline that we will remember: Kyle Busch sweeping Bristol weekend to extend his Bristol streak to five.

Storyline that we will forget:  Jimmie Johnson leads 164 laps but a mistake on pit road costs him and he finishes third.

Quote of the Week:  "Unfortunately we didn't see a very packed house today, I hate that. The old Bristol was the old Bristol” – Kyle Busch

Tweet of the Week:  “gas is $3.75 a gallon, we don't have the extra cash laying around to spend on attending a race, it’s not the racing, it’s not NASCAR, it’s the economy” - @AllWaltrip  Darrell Waltrip’s comments that I hope are spot on.

Power Rankings
(Rankings will be based off of who is running the best, with an emphasis on the last several races but having respect for the duration of the 36 race schedule. Last Week’s Rankings can be found in parenthesis.)
1.  (1)Kurt Busch – Only Driver with 4 Top 10’s.
2.  (4)Ryan Newman – Tied for 3rd in Points.
3.  (7)Carl Edwards- The reason he is behind Ryan Newman is because of Phoenix.
4.  (9)Paul Menard- 1st top 5 of the year to get to 5th in points.
5.  (2)Tony Stewart – Should have won at Las Vegas and had a horrible day at Bristol.
6.  (11)Kyle Busch – Winner of the Jeff Byrd 500, sitting 6th in points.
7.  (12)Martin Truex Jr.- Anybody know where he is at in points?  10th.
8.  (3) Juan Pablo Montoya- Bad day and a drop to 8th in the points.
9.  (NR) Jimmie Johnson – Quietly has raced himself to 7th in Points.
10.(8)Mark Martin – 11th in Points and being consistent or Mark Martin.
11. (10)Jeff Gordon – Would make the Chase because of the wild card spots.
12. (NR) Kasey Kahne – Great start so far with his new team.

Driver of the Week: Kyle Busch-Most laps led and the win

Stat of the Week- Kyle Busch is the fourth different winners in the first four races this season, first time that time has happened since 2005.

Prediction for Auto Club: I think we will see Jimmie Johnson in the Winner Circle with a strong showing by Dale Earnhardt Jr and all of the Hendrick cars.
