After a thrilling finish in Fontana, NASCAR gets back to its roots at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia with the Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup Series on tap this weekend as Nationwide Series drivers take a breather. The .526-mile paperclip shaped track always provides great racing with plenty of frammin’ and bammin’ throughout the field.

Kevin Harvick returns to Martinsville as the defending champion of the Kroger 250 Truck Series event and after engine troubles in Fontana Denny Hamlin will be seeking to defend his Martinsville win in the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 from one year ago.

Carl Edwards is the Sprint Cup point leader once again with Ryan Newman nine points back in second followed by Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.  Matt Crafton holds a six point lead over rookie Cole Whitt heading into the Truck Race.

The action at Martinsville kicks off Friday with Cup Series practice at 12:30 p.m. followed by the lone practice for Truck Series teams at 2:10 p.m., both can be seen live on SPEED. The day ends with Sprint Cup final practice at 3:30 p.m. before qualifying on Saturday.

Saturday begins at Martinsville Speedway with an autograph session at 9 a.m. featuring Camping World Truck Series drivers prior to their qualifying session at 10:40 a.m. Sprint Cup qualifying gets underway at 12:10 p.m. with driver introductions for the Kroger 250 Truck Series race at 1:30 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 2:15 p.m. Tune to SPEED for coverage of Saturday’s activities at Martinsville.

FOX’s live coverage of Sunday’s Goody's Fast Relief 500 begins at 12:30 p.m. with the race set to go green shortly after 1:00 p.m. All times are eastern.
